One year and eighty-four
This eighty-four year old tree in the front yard was cut down yesterday and this morning. It's sad, but it was time. The (large) branches were brittle and the tree had been struck by lightning a few years back. This was how we spent most of yesterday, listening to chainsaws and watching the progress.
